Mehr Bojenfelder auch im östlichen Mittelmeer

Bislang war es im westlichen Mittelmeer (Spanien/Balearen) üblich, jetzt ersetzen auch Länder im östlichen Mittelmeer immer mehr das freie Ankern durch Bojenfelder.

Beispiel Türkei

Im Golf von Fethiye und im Bezirk Dalaman haben die Behörden die ersten Bojenfelder in Ankerbuchten eingerichtet. Sie sollen die Pflanzen- und Tierwelt am Meeresgrund vor Schäden durch die Anker der Yachten und Gulets schützen. Bisher sind die roten Tonnen sind frei nutzbar, und es wird keine Gebühr verlangt.
Andere Kommunen werden wohl bald nachziehen und es ist zu bezweifeln dass es weiter kostenfrei bleibt.

Seit einem Jahr dürfen ausserdem in verschiedenen Gebieten keine Landleinen mehr an den Bäumen festgemacht werden. Die sind notwendig, weil an einigen Küsten der Ankergrund steil abfällt. Deshalb wurden in Buchten ohne Bojen an Land mittlerweile zusätzlich Poller für Landleinen einbetoniert.

Beispiel Kroatien

Die kroatischen Behörden haben die ersten Bojenfelder im Jahr 2010 in Ankerbuchten eingerichtet und zur Verpachtung ausgeschrieben. Seitdem steigt deren Zahl beständig.
