Windjammerparade bei frischem Südwestwind

Gute Bedingungen zur Windjammerparade: Bei frischem Südwestwind und einem Wechsel aus Sonne und Wolken verfolgten Zehntausende Menschen am Sonnabend das maritime Großereignis der Extraklasse. Angeführt von der Alexander von Humboldt II nahmen mehr als hundert traditionelle Segler und Schiffe an der Parade teil – darunter auch die Sedow oder der Kreuzfahrtgroßsegler Star Flyer.

Impressionen alter Schiffe

Da wurden die Ufer zu Tribünen: An den Stränden, auf Anlegern und Brücken standen die Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer entlang der Förde in den ersten Reihen, als am Vormittag die Schiffe zur Geschwaderfahrt antraten.

Zu den imposanten Großseglern gesellten sich auch diesmal viele Begleit- und Sportboote. Mit gutem Tempo passierte die Flotte zunächst mit nordöstlichem Kurs die Friedrichsorter Enge und fuhr dann am Laboer Ehrenmal vorbei. Ein gutes Stück dahinter löste sich die Parade am späten Mittag auf – die Schiffe schlugen dann wieder eigene Wege ein.
